Y Series Fertiliser Spreader
The COSMO Y Series is a professional spreader, with a large hopper capacity, designed to spread pilled or granular fertiliser over a wide width up to 24m.
The COSMO Y Series provides the operator with a very accurate and uniform spread due to the slow rotating agitators, that minimise powdering and damage to fertiliser, and the adjustable vanes on the spinner discs.
The COSMO Y Series is Italian made and has been developed through extensive, independently verified, field testing. Careful consideration has been given to all components. The metal hopper, frame and gearbox drive system are manufactured in-house and all parts that come in contact with fertiliser are made from stainless steel.

Wide, squat hopper for loadability
Rectangular shape tapers to the exits to minimise fertiliser wastage
Internal hopper grate prevents large lumps from blocking exits, which could compromise the spreading pattern
Hopper inspection windows
Two exit points, one for each disc, provide the operator with left, right or full coverage spreading options
Exit points are individually hydraulically operated via a double-acting hydraulic ram
PTO driven
Series 4 PTO shaft with ratchet torque limiter
Three (3) gearbox drive system
Frame is constructed from folded thick metal components that are reinforced and welded together to create a strong, one-piece design
Category 2 double clevis linkage/mounting
Stainless steel disc shield
Laser-cut stainless fertiliser application rate plate
